What is Metacam Dog?
Metacam Dog is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces the pain and inflammation of osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Why do pets use Metacam?
If your dog or cat has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis or suffers from joint pain, your veterinarian may prescribe an NSAID such as Meloxicam to reduce the associated pain and inflammation.

Contact your veterinarian immediately if you notice symptoms such as eating less than normal, vomiting, changes in bowel movements, changes in behaviour or activity, weakness, seizures, aggression, jaundice, changes in drinking, or changes in urination. Metacam should be given with food. Follow your veterinarian's directions. The liquid suspension can be mixed with food or given into the mouth. Shake the bottle well before every use.
